A set of 5  still life postcards, these intricate yet naive illustrations capture charming moments and vignettes from around Lily’s home. Lily delights in creating still life tableaux’s using personal objects and floral finds, that change with the seasons. Hand drawn observations from my sketchbooks are transposed with time into engravings that my laser cutter, Gloria creates in my studio in Devon. These are then reworked and hand painted with layers of gouache, emulsion and chalk paint, to create unique snapshots.

These A6 postcards are printed in the UK by and family run business onto recycled silk matte paper with a beautiful weight. Further more they are printed with vegetable based inks, in a facility that is powered by renewable energy, by a company that plants trees in Kenya to offset the carbon produced. I believe in working with fellow independent businesses, that put our planet first.

The postcards are simply bound with a recyclable kraft paper band, and will wrapped in a sheet of tissue to prevent scrapes and marks.
