Bee Plant Pot Companions
Bee Plant Pot Companions
Our accidental best seller The Plant Pot Companions are a little glimpse into Lily’s home life.
“I come from a family of collectors, hoarders of hedgerow trinkets, found ephemera, or good pieces of packaging. We weave them into our home interiors without thought, for a smattering of hedgerow whimsy and a hearty dose of humour. And the Plant Pot Companions evolved from this, a happy marriage of up-cycling and celebrating joyful, frivolous moments”
Anatomy notes
Your Plant Pot companions feature a pair of Bees on two different lengths of wire, these are to be poked into your plant pots, picture frames or table decorations
How we made it
Each Lily Faith friend starts with a pen and ink line drawing. Lily gets inspired by her loved ones’ favourite beasts or those she spots while strolling the Devon countryside with her trusty sidekick, Ned. The creatures come to life when we laser cut and engrave them from wood, hand painting their features and details. Next, we add the wires with a healthy dollop of glue, and piece of recycled paper. They are then carefully packed in their bespoke picture frame box. The individual plant pot companions measure 2.4cm, plus 8.5 and 6.5 cm for height.
Natural habitat
Like their name suggests, they are perfect friends for your plant pots, but don’t let that hold you back! They can quite happily run amok all over your home, from table-scapes to garland wreaths and beyond. Bringing a cheerful nod to the season, and a joyous touch of humour. We particularly love the play of scale, with the creatures being in miniature in a rainforest jungle of house plants.
From our hands to yours

Tread lightly
We take care to tread as lightly as our animal friends. We use recyclable packaging, eco-friendly paint from Little Greene and minimal white (bleached) paper products. We use offcuts for many of our products and recycle anything we can’t repurpose. Please visit our Sustainability page for more details.
In the wild
Spotted on Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas, these featured as part of our winning Table Decoration Entry in 2019.
Take care!
Due to their small parts and delicate nature, these are not suitable for children. We recommend removing them from plant pots when watering, and are best kept for indoor use.
