One of Lily‘s absolute favourites, the Hare Carousel is full of memories of Christmases past.

“It was my job to set up the angel carousel for the Christmas sideboard. A treasured but curmudgeonly old thing that had been in the family for years. We’d spend hours hunting down the right sized candles for its holders, only to burn through our stash before Boxing Day.”

Anatomy notes

Your Candle Carousel kit contains a glass votive, carousel attachment and four laser etched wooden Hare ornaments, intricately hand painted and embellished with a copper crescent moon. Just add a standard supermarket tealight.

How we made it

Each Lily Faith friend starts with a pen and ink line drawing. Lily gets inspired by her loved ones’ favourite beasts or those she spots while strolling the Devon countryside with her trusty sidekick, Ned. The creatures come to life when we laser cut and engrave them from wood, hand painting their features and details. Next, we carefully package your Hares with the Candle Carousel, and the rest is up to you!

Your Candle Carousel is a timeless classic for your box of festive decorations. Providing festive sparkle from first mince pie til you spot the last bit of tinsel. Or leave it up for year-round cheer on your dining table, shelf or mantlepiece (highly recommended!) Tread lightly

We take care to tread as lightly as our animal friends. We use recyclable packaging, eco-friendly paint from Little Greene and minimal white (bleached) paper products.
